Wardwick Wells

on the way to Wardwick WellsVideo

We head to Wardwick Well to hide out from the high winds and potential cold front coming through this weekend. The wind is blowing 20 knots and we are sailing at 6 knots with just a partially furl head sail out. Even though we are on the leeward side of the Exuma Island chain we are getting tossed around pretty good in confused short period waves. The waves are so close together at one point, that the front deck would be awash and before the deck would drain the next wave pushes the bow up so rapidly flinging the water over the rest of the boat. Very annoying sail, strangely similar to our last trip to Wardwick Wells.
