Hopetown, Bright Ayes

Sunrise in Hopetown

I finally get our AIS WiFi device working the way I had hoped to, transmitting and displaying AIS target information and our own boat information like speed, wind, etc. on our iPad apps. Our sailing friends Wayne & Betty, who we first met on our last trip, are in the area on their sailboat and we plan to meet for lunch at the Hopetown Hideaway Marina. They are pretty hardcore sailors and have been across the ocean on their Caliber 47. They usually leave the Abacos at the end of their time in the Bahamas and do a 4 day/night sail all the way to their home port in Barnegat Bay, NJ. They are here for another month or so and will be back in New Jersey long before we get there. We have a fun lunch with them and Mark & Karen who also had met them on a previous visit to Great Harbour in the Berries.
