Long Island, Tiny's

Went to the Saturday morning farmers market. We must have been too late, did not find much we were interested in buying. Walked to the local marine store to buy a couple o-rings to fix our saltwater faucet on the galley sink. In the afternoon we dinghy to Tiny’s Hurricane Hole a new restaurant/beach bar on Thompson Bay. Had a very good lunch and stayed to play Mexican Train dominoes.

Tiny's Hurricane Hole

Black Beard Boat Club, it is windy, note the chip straps

Later walked to a beach on the oceanside of Long Island with Mark and Karen. Was amazed at the amount of plastic in the sand. Some of it appeared to be from a lost shipping container, since we have seen the same plastic bags at many beaches on Long Island.

Hiking to the beach

Typical view on most windward beaches in the Bahamas, tons of plastic
