Back to the old prop
|
This morning is relatively calm, still very windy, compared to the
last two days. Steve texts me telling me he will be here in 20
minutes. I take the dinghy off the davits and move it to the side of
the boat. When Steve arrives we tie his boat up on the opposite side.
In less than ½ hour he has completed the job. The rest of the day we
spend on the boat working on stuff like dealing with our insurance
company. The woman wants a picture of the damage. She knows the is prop
missing, fell of. I try to explain all she will see is a clean prop
shaft. I have the feeling she does not even know what a prop is.
