Shroud, Driftwood Beach

Robert’s outboard has a problem with his prop so Mark and I split them up so we each have three each on our dinghies for a trip through Sanctuary Creek to Camp Driftwood on the Ocean side of Shroud. A mostly cloudy and windy day out of the east so we hug the lee shore to stay dry as we head north to the creek to the east side. Linda and I had hoped for a “beach day” at Camp Driftwood, but the wind is blowing too hard for laying around on the beach. There is much less beach here than in the past.
I had hoped to get a cell connection at the top of the hill here, but no luck. We will probably not have cell connection for about 7 days until we get to Staniel Cay. May get a connection on top of Boo Boo hill at Wardrich Wells on Tuesday.

I do get one question answered when we take the next creek south, Middle Creek back from Driftwood beach. In the past they only allowed motorized dinghies in Sanctuary creek, now there seems to be no restriction except for speed, 3 miles and hour max and no jet skis.
