Key Biscayne

Up early to shower and get the car back to Enterprise with a stop at Super Cuts to get Linda a trim. We have a busy day because we plan to leave for Key Biscayne in the afternoon and leave the following morning for Bimini. Chris Parker has forecasted good weather window to cross on Friday. Back at the Marina Linda does laundry one last time, hopefully, in the USA for a couple months. I work on a number of things on the computer at the marina lounge. After we head out to the boat I run all our gasoline through a water separator filter so we have clean fuel in the outboard motor tank and then head into the marina to buy more. I had just emailed Marketa and Tom “Departure” who we last saw in Elizabeth City. It turns out they are heading to No Name Harbor in Key Biscayne this afternoon from Key Largo to cross over on Friday, as we are. We plan to sail over together. We drop anchor outside of No Name harbor around sunset next to Marketa and Tom. There are 10-15 boats anchored out for the next days crossing. They talk us into leaving around 3:00 AM. I had planned on leaving around 5:00.
