South Bimini

Today is rather cool temperature is in the low 70's with low humidity. Sweater day for some of the locals. We go for a walk with Mark & Karen to find Nate's Bakery. I remember that he made very good coconut bread, just didn't remember exactly where his store is. Alice Town in Bimini is not that big so finding it without asking directions is not difficult.

After lunch on the boat, a bunch of us (Mark& Karen, “Sea Vu Play”, Jo & Mark “Truant”, Susan “”Golden” and Linda & I) take the ferry over to South Bimini.

We walk to the Bimini Sands Marina, but the group from yesterday had already left. We continue on to Bimini Beach Club on the south side of the island, which is owned by Bimini sands. The restaurant is closed today, but fortunately the bar is open and serving drinks and food. Nice indoor bar with a sand floor.

We get a ride back in the Sands Van. We walk part of the way back before the driver shows up.

In the evening we go over to “Sea-Vu-Play” and Linda teaches us to play cribbage and we also play another card games Hand & Foot.
