Vero Beach Marina |
Listen to the morning VHF Radio Vero Beach Marina morning Net. They discuss up coming boater related activities and answer questions. The one item we were interested in is hamburger night at “Mr. Manatees”. It is most Monday nights and sponsored by the “Seven Seas Association”. Access is easy since they have a dinghy dock and its about a 10 minute ride away. We make our reservations over the radio.
After breakfast we move to a dock for the next few days, so I can work on a number of projects. Unfortunately the docks are far from the main docks, so we have a long walk to the Marina bathrooms. What I do like about these docks is they are wide cement floating docks with lots of space. I pull the dinghy up on the dock for a though cleaning. I did not have a chance to clean the dinghy just before we left Lake Champlain and its getting rather dirty.
We pick up Mark and Karen in our dinghy at 3:45 to head over to Mr. Manatees. On the way over we pass a couple people in a dinghy that is having motor problems, can’t get it restarted. We offer to tow them back or to Mr. Manatee’s, they take a tow to Mr. Manatee’s. After dinner we head back to the boat in the dark for the evening.
