I do a quick search for a restaurant in the direction we are heading this morning for breakfast. Not a lot of choices, but I pick a place that has a lot of comments. We are surprised to have a very good breakfast. We are all alone in the dining room. I assume the normal breakfast crowd has already passed though. Early afternoon we get to Prince George, the big city, with a Costco, Canadian tire and Canadian Super Store, what more could we ask for. First stop is Costco for gas.
Our only wildlife for the day, a deer. |
We now head south on RT 97. Stop at 10 Mile Provincial Campground for the night, but decide to move on and boondock further south when we loose cell connection in the Campground.
We find a nice paved rest area, “Highway 97 Rest Stop” just south of Kersley, with one towed trailer already there and set up for the evening. By 9:00 PM there are about 8 RV’s parked for the night.
