We enjoy a slow morning and don’t get up until 9:00AM. We have a light breakfast a few blocks from the Hotel.

I could not get a ferry reservation for tomorrow at the 10:30AM sailing, so we stop by the ferry office to find out about getting on standby. The young lady said to get there at 6:00AM. I think that is a slight exaggeration. We will see tomorrow.
We spend the afternoon at the Royal BC Museum and IMAX. I was here 52 years ago traveling via bicycle after college.
In the morning we tried to get a reservation to the famous Empress afternoon tea, but are told there are none available. In the afternoon we stop by and ask if they have any openings and we get a 3:30 PM seating.
