Stanley Park

We spent the day at Stanley Park across Vancouver Harbor from the RV Park in North Vancouver. The RV Park is almost under the Lions Gate Bridge connecting North Vancouver with Vancouver.

52 years ago spent two weeks in the area on my after college bike trip, before I rode down the west coast to San Diego. I previously biked over the Lions Gate Bridge numerous times. It was probably much faster than driving is today.  We spend the day walking around the park and visiting the Aquarium. Extensive Aquarium, between the inside and outside exhibits and shows, it takes hours to get through and we still missed stuff.

We walk over to the Stanley Grill for a late lunch/early dinner. Linda gets a caesar salad and I get and excellent Sea food chowder.

We hang out in the park, I take out our chairs from the RV and we work on stuff under the trees. Head back to the RV park around 6:00PM.  We watch the first episode of “Bad Monkey” from a Carl Hiaasen book on Amazon Prime.
